Sensei Jennifer Foster was awarded the IKD National Medal of Service at a clinic and grading conducted by Shuseki Shihan Frank Woon-A-Tai this week in Bruce Mines, Ontario.
Sensei Foster is the fourth recipient of this distinguished award which has also been presented to Shihan Bernice Hughes, Shihan Janice Pyke, Sensei Chris Troch and now Sensei Foster.
Sensei Jennifer began training with Shuseki Shihan Woon-A-Tai around 1986 and received her black belt from Master Okazaki in 1990. She can tell you many stories about the Woon-A-Tai children as she was their babysitter for some time.
Sensei Foster heads IKD Bruce Mines and also has a very long and distinguished service record with the IKD, ISKF Canada and JKA Canada.
Congratulations Sensei Foster.
