IKD mourns loss of Shihan Kai Member

IKD Shihan Kai member, Shihan Guy Bourgon, 8th Dan, passed away on January 4. He will be sadly missed.

DEATH OF SHIHAN BOURGON

For every choice we make we have to give up something else. It is impossible for any of us to have or do everything; our existence is limited to one body, one mind, and one life.

For each of those who have been around you, thank you Guy for being present in our lives and leaving an indelible trace. Your departure is a great loss. But for those who witnessed your journey, it was for us the gain of a humanism that we will all enjoy.

Thank you my friend RIP

On behalf of all AKJQ members,

Pierre Castera, VP of Communications, AKJQ

Message from Mr Company Burgundy:

Dear friends and friends

It is with great sadness that I tell you the death of our dear Guy. He left us yesterday, January 4th in the afternoon at CHUM. He fought a long and courageous battle against cancer, may he now rest in peace. He has been well surrounded and supported during this ordeal.

A commemoration will take place on January 21st from 12:00 to 17:00, with a ceremony at 16:00 at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos Funeral Centre at 3955 Chemin de la Côte de Liesse. A recording of the ceremony will be available for those interested.

Donations to Cancer Research Foundation or CHUM would be appreciated

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your messages of support.

Joanne
